Jive Break Away with Underarm turn (Outside Turn)

In nineteenth class, we learnt Jive's break away with underarm turn (outside turn) step. Female partner does it in two steps, turning to her right, by rotating on her right leg as pivot. Male partner just gives lead and continue doing his basic steps.

Outside turns are always followed by inside turns since the hand is upside down. (Guys, any time a pattern leaves your hand upside down, do an underarm turn to correct this.)
closed position -> outside turn -> inside turn -> closed position.

Steps are as follows:

  1. Partners complete previous Jive steps.
  2. Steps 1 and 2 are same as basic steps.
  3. In steps 3-a-4, male partner starts to raise his left arm, till it reaches over his head.
  4. In step 5, he gives a slight push with his left hand to her right hand, so that she gets momentum and turns clockwise.
  5. During steps 5-a-6, she rotates clockwise by 90 degrees, picking up her left foot, and walking away diagonally.
  6. At end of step 6, she completes 90 degrees of turn. The hands can then continue doing return with inside turn.
