In 27th class, we learnt Salsa's Cross hand variations.
After a complete basic step we do:
1: Male partner does open break. He starts leading by forming an inverted C. He pushes his left and female partner's right hand to his left.
2: Step 2 of open break. His left hand continues forming inverted C
3: Step 3 of open break. His lifts his left hand, with left hand palm vertical facing her.
5: Step 5 of side step. He picks his right foot and does a side step. He leaves her left hand and she starts doing a clockwise turn. While doing side step, he should look at his right. His left hand remains at the lifted position and helping her to take a turn.
6: Step 6 of side step.
7: Step 7 of side step. She completes the turn and both partners lower their hands down. While bringing their hands down, they do cross hands. He leaves her right hand and catches it with his right hand. Now both partners have their left hands free.
1: He again does open break. He starts leading by pushing her right hand with his right hand towards her right side.
2: Step 2 of open break. He starts lifting his right hand.
3: Step 3 of open break. His lifts his right hand above their head, with right hand's two fingers in her palm, such that his palm is horizontal and facing her.
5: Step 5 of side step. He picks his right foot and does a side step. She again starts doing a clockwise turn. While doing side step, he should look at his right. His right hand remains at the lifted position and helping her to take a turn.
6: Step 6 of side step.
7: Step 7 of side step. She completes the turn and both partners lower their hands down. While bringing their hands down, he catches her left hand with his left hand above their right hands.
1: Now both partners do cross body lead. Both do step 1 of CBL.
2: Step 2 of CBL.
3: Step 3 of CBL.
Shift: He leads her by leaving their right hands and pulling her left hand by his left hand towards his left.
5: Step 5 of CBL.
6: Step 6 of CBL.
7: Step 7 of CBL. They both do cross hands, so that his left hand now holds her right hand and vice-versa.
