Salsa Chiko Cross Body Step
In twenty-third class, we learnt Salsa Chiko Cross Body Steps. The steps are similar to Salsa Cross body steps for male partner. For female partners, instead of walking straight and then turning, they do a counter-clockwise (left) under arm turn. Steps are:

- 2: Cross body step 2, where male partner puts his right foot turned 90 degrees counter clockwise.
- 3: Cross body step 3, where male partner puts his foot next to his right one, leaving space for her to cross him.

- 6: He raises his left hand, under which she will make counter-clockwise (left) turn. He puts his left foot rotated 180 degrees counter-clockwise and shifts weight back on left foot and leaves her left hand. She crosses him by rotating 180 degrees on her left foot and putting her right foot a bit back of left foot, in opposite direction to initial direction of left foot. Now both partners are facing each other.
- 7: He puts his right foot rotated 180 degrees counter-clockwise, next to his left foot. She again rotates 180 degrees counter-clockwise on her right foot, putting her left foot in opposite direction to initial direction of right foot. Now both partners are facing same direction.
- 1: Basic step 1 for male partner. He brings his left hand down. She makes another 180 degrees counter-clockwise turn on her left foot, by putting her right foot behind. Now both hands come back in contact. Both partners start facing each other.
